Parkwood Studios, also trading as Phoenix Photo Studio, is a rental facility in the Phoenix Photo District on East McDowell Road. It has two studio suites with curated lifestyle sets, a white cyclorama and flexible layouts, giving over 1,600 square feet of combined shooting space. The cyclorama wall measures 25 by 20 feet and the ceilings are extra high, leaving room to light from overhead. A frosted glass garage bay door lets in daylight and allows vehicle access. Amenities include a client lounge, a lit hair and makeup room, a kitchen for long shoot days and co-working desks for editing. Equipment rentals are available on site, and the suites can be set up for workshops, seminars and events, with the combined space seating over 100 guests. Studio 3 is hired from $50 per hour on weekdays between 9am and 4pm and $75 per hour at weekends, both with a 2-hour minimum. Evening and holiday bookings cost more and need approval. Studio 4 has floor paint fees for dance, music video and vehicle shoots.
