Crown Studio is a 1,400 sq ft rental photo studio inside Crown Industrial Park in Baltimore's Highlandtown arts district. Large industrial windows bring in indirect daylight throughout the day, so the space can be shot moody or airy, and the owners describe it as giving full control over the light. The studio is dressed with five different photo scenes, a white wall backdrop, a baby grand piano, a grass wall, tables, chairs, props and decor, and the sets are refreshed regularly. There is a changing room inside the studio and a restroom just outside the entry door. It suits portrait sessions, content creation, film sets, music videos and band rehearsals. Hire terms: open seven days a week from 7am to 8pm, with free on-site parking and a maximum of 10 guests. There is no Wi-Fi, so a hotspot or cell bonding is recommended for streaming, and studio equipment is not included for renters' use. The owners note the unit is not suited to interviews because there is no audio control from neighbouring workshops and trains.
